What is the Eagle Alliance?
The Heards Ferry Eagle Alliance would like to welcome all new and returning students and families back to school! For those of you that may not know, the Heards Ferry Eagle Alliance is an organization comprised of parents, guardians, teachers, and staff of Heards Ferry Elementary. The overall goal of the Eagle Alliance is to foster a caring environment, supporting academic programs, planning events throughout the academic year, and providing overall support to the Heards Ferry community.
By joining The Eagle Alliance, you are supporting all of the programming throughout the school year. Membership is open to anyone who has a child at Heards Ferry Elementary or wants to support the school. In addition to joining the Eagle Alliance, money is solicited from all of us - parents and guardians - through the Eagle Fund, to financially support all of these wonderful programs and events that occur during the year. But it is not just money that is needed, we also need you to join Eagle Alliance because the officers, directors, and committee members cannot pull off all of these events alone; we need volunteers who are dedicated to enhancing student education and serving the Heards Ferry community.
Nearly every single academic program, including the Science Lab, Writing and Math programs, Field Trips, Art, Music, and Teacher Training and Staff Development (including International Baccalaureate) receives financial support from the Eagle Fund.
The Eagle Fund also funds extra-curricular activities such as Chorus, Orff Ensemble, STEAM Club and Science Club.
Additionally, the Eagle Alliance plans and funds fantastic events throughout the school year. These events include such favorites as STEM Day, International Week, Field Day, the Winter Carnival and so many more. All of these events help build and reinforce the strong sense of community at Heards Ferry.
The Eagle Alliance dues and other funds raised throughout the year directly benefit all Heards Ferry Students. Join today!
