After School Programs

Heards Ferry will have a new afterschool program for the 24-25 school year, YEXPLORE through the YMCA. The program is onsite at Heards Ferry daily 2:30 - 6:30 p.m. Please see the Quick Facts flyer about the program and how to register. Registration is now open.

Join us this Spring for an exciting journey into Spanish language and culture with our new theme, "El Tiempo” (time & weather).

Your child will love Brilliant Bilingual's fun Spanish program! Open to K-5 students of all proficiency levels, the Spanish Club uses fun games, projects and speaking activities to help students express information about themselves and about the world around them in Spanish!

This semester, students will enjoy:
Birthday Cake Craft: Practice dates and months through a fun cake-
making activity.
Spring Vocabulary Egg Hunt: Search outdoors for new words in an
exciting scavenger hunt.
Nature Poem Creation: Write simple Spanish poems using seasonal
and weather vocabulary.
