2025-2026 New Eagle Alliance Volunteer Interest

The Eagle Alliance is beginning the nominations process for the 2025-2026 school year.  Please review the information below and indicate your area(s) of interest.  Feel free to mark multiple items. The nominating committee will work through potential volunteers and be in touch with volunteers in May. We do our best to place volunteers where they want to serve. Placement is based on availability.

Spirit Wear
Volunteers (Team: 4): Maria Korovilas (returning), Christina Malone (returning), 2 Vacant Positions; Design and manage the school spirit wear apparel and accessories


Yearbook
Volunteers (Team: 2): Selena Bauman (returning), 1 Vacant Position; The Yearbook Committee works alongside Ms. Severson year round to sell (yearbooks and ads), create, and distribute the school's yearbook.

Promotional Materials
Volunteers (Team: 2-3): Larissa Tootla (returning), 2 Vacant Positions; Design and manage creating promotional items (flyers, banners, magnets, signs, etc.) for the HFE administration and the HFE Eagle Alliance, based upon the HFE brand identity.

Eagle Mentors
Volunteers (Team: 4-6): Rebecca Bailey (returning), Corrie Inman (returning), Tiffany Lander (returning), Casey Richter (returning), 2 Vacant Positions; Eagle Mentors serve as liaisons for new families joining the HFE community.


New Student Round Up
Volunteers (Team: 2-4): Adrienne Hoyt (returning), 3 Vacant Positions; Responsible for scheduling and planning the Round Up event with the Eagle Alliance and school administration.

Back to School Bash
Volunteers (Team: 2-4): All vacancies. Plan and execute the onsite welcome event at the beginning of the school year.


Parent Party
Volunteers (Team: 4-8): Rachel Leasure (returning), Kristen Pittenger, Sadie Grayson, Olivia Holter, up to 4 Vacant Positions; Plan and organize an adult only party for parents and staff in late March. Includes a silent auction composed of staff experiences, grade level items and outside items donated by community businesses


Year End Celebration
Volunteers (Team: 2-3): All vacancies; Plan year end celebration for all grades for the second to last day of school on the play pad.

Bus Driver Appreciation
Volunteers (Team: 4): Mary Beth Thrasher (returning), Amanda Williams (returning), Marissa Lee, 1 Vacant Position; Coordinate expressions of appreciation for bus driver appreciation week at the end of October.


Staff Appreciation Week
Volunteers (Team: 4-6): Marisa Lee (returning), Amanda Williams, Jennings Walsh; Plan and execute a week long “theme” related celebration for the teachers and staff at HFE during March. Requires you to be onsite at HFE the entire week.

Veteran's Day
Volunteer (Team: 2): All vacancies; Honor our HFE families' veterans. Open to new ideas or continue to display information prepared by our children on a bulletin board inside HFE.


Career Month
Volunteers (Team: 4): Kaitlin Holman (returning), 3 Vacant Positions; Assist the guidance counselor in the overall preparation and management of Career Month. The main responsibilities include contacting companies for "Careers on Wheels", as well as helping with developing Career Stations and organizing volunteers for the younger grades.

Partners in Education
Volunteers (Team: 2): Natalie Battisti (returning), 1Vacant Position; Work with area businesses to become donor that support additional enrichment experiences for the children, families and faculty of our school.


Service and Outreach
Volunteers (Team: 2): Rachel Leasure (returning), 1 Vacant Position; Work with staff member to identify, coordinate and supervise four school-wide service projects throughout the year.
