Parent Film Screening - This Wednesday!

HFE will be hosting an adult-only screening of the Indieflix Film, ANGST, Raising Awareness Around Anxiety on Wednesday, March 20th @ 7pm. Please RSVP HERE as space is limited.
A Q&A expert panel will immediately follow moderated by HFE parent, Rick Folbaum, journalist and an anchor at CNN International. He's also a former anchor for Fox News Channel. Panel participants include: Allison M. LoPilato, Psychologist and Associate Director of Emory’s Child & Adolescent Mood Program (CAMP); Janet Burr, a Licensed Professional Counselor at Art It Out Therapy; Samiah Garcia, Coordinator of School Counseling for Fulton County Schools.
The Angst project is an IndieFlix Original documentary designed to raise awareness around anxiety, with an emphasis on youth and families. The film includes interviews with kids, teens, experts, and parents. Their goal is to help people identify and understand the symptoms of anxiety and encourage them to reach out for help. During the month of March, HFE students will inquire about nature as they explore various plants, animals and national parks from their countries of study. Research will be placed in the hallway to create interest and drive inquiry. We will continue the effort to learn words and phrases in various languages.

The Pre-K lottery will be held on Friday, March 29th at 9:00am in the Media Center. Parents are welcome to attend!
Spring Registration for Kindergarten and New Students will be held in the lobby on:
Wednesday, March 27th from 8:00am – 4:00pm
Thursday, March 28th from 8:00am – 7:00pm
*Parents of currently enrolled Pre-K students do NOT need to attend.
