Why is your support so critical to The Heards Ferry Eagle Alliance?
It’s no secret that public schools in Georgia are underfunded. Heards Ferry Elementary receives only enough money from Fulton County to pay our incredible teachers and staff, to keep our school clean, and basic academic programming.
No other programs, activities or events are funded by your tax dollars.
It costs an average of more than $250 per student over and above this budget to run our school. This is why we ask for parents to contribute $250 per child to the Eagle Alliance every school year.
The Eagle Alliance is proud to make it a top priority to fund additional academic programming and opportunities for our students and teachers.
Basic membership is $25 and is open to anyone who has a child at Heards Ferry Elementary or wants to support the school. Funds raised throughout the year directly benefit all Heards Ferry Students.
